The winner of the Lexus IS Design contest has been chosen, with their design to be built by VIP Auto Salon for the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Lexus and competition partner and online art community deviantART have revealed the first, second and third place winners, with Rob Evans of Seattle, Washington, taking first place. Second place went to Lucia Lee of Pasadena, California, with Guanghao Huang from Southfield, Michigan third.
This time there’s no waiting for the Turbo S to follow the Turbo, with both models on offer straight out of the gate. The 911 Turbo gets the 3.8 litre flat six with 513bhp and the Turbo S gets an even more fulsome 552bhp, enough to get to 62mph in just 3.1 seconds and on to 198mph. Nissan revealed the 2015 Versa Note SR at the Chicago Auto Show on Thursday. The hatchback was joined on the stand by the Frontier diesel pickup. The SR trim of the diminutive Note gets a new front bumper and grille with dark headlight treatments and fog lights with black chrome accents.
